About the types of classes
Beginners Yoga
This class is for both beginners and students who wish to further develop their understanding of the Ashtanga yoga series. The class is taught at a much slower pace than a full lead primary class, spending a little more time breaking down postures and offering modifications and methods so that each student can begin to work on postures and develop their own practice.Over time each student will have a much deeper understanding of all of the postures within the primary series and also develop a clearer understanding of the sequence as a whole. We concentrate on modifications for each students needs and development and focus on the breath in cultivating this practice. Drop in £8.50 (10 class pass £7.50 20 class pass £6.75)
Ashtanga Primary Led Class
Each week, through a set dynamic sequence of postures we start to build and develop body memory of the Primary series, the repition of the sequence each week enables the student to begin to ‘flow’ through the postures and begin to understand their own practice. I also introduce modifications and further sequencing to help inform and develop difficult postures within the Primary series. Beginners are welcome to join the class but will be recommended to use modifications in order to build the foundations of this practice over time. Drop in £8.50 (10 class pass £7.50 20 class pass £6.75)
